Police ID Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Long Island
New York State Police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle crash on Long Island's Southern State Parkway on Wednesday.
ISLIP TERRACE, NY — A man died in a motorcycle crash on Long Island on Wednesday night, New York State Police told Patch.
Michael E. Myrick, 40, of Central Islip, was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Southern State Parkway around 2:15 p.m. when he failed to negotiate the turn, lost control of the bike and died near Exit 43 in Islip Terrace, according to police.
No other vehicles or people were involved, police said.
