Man Severely Injured After Struck By Car In Brentwood: Police
The man was struck while in the roadway, police say.
BRENTWOOD, NY — A man is severely injured after he was struck by a car on Saturday night, Suffolk County Police said.
At about 9:35 p.m., a 50-year-old man walked into the roadway on Suffolk Avenue, just east of Wicks Road, when he was struck by an eastbound 2006 Honda Accord, police said.
The man, who is undomiciled, was taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the Honda, of Central Islip, was not injured. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
