As an act of giving back to the community, the class collected toys for children who spent the holiday season at the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. After collecting the donations, the recruits then dropped off the toys to the children to help brighten their spirits.
In addition to the Suffolk County Police recruits, four recruits will be joining the East Hampton Town Police Department, Riverhead Town Police Department and Village of Northport Police Department.
