Motorcyclist Killed In Suffolk Crash Sunday: PD
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
BRENTWOOD, NY — A Bay Shore man died in a motorcycle crash in Brentwood Sunday, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place on 5th Avenue near Candlewood Road at 11:58 a.m.
An 18-year-old from Bay Shore was driving a 2007 Honda Accord northbound on 5th Avenue and attempted to make a lefthand turn into a parking lot near Candlewood Road when she collided with a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja being operated by Jose Morales, 62, who was driving southbound, police said.

Morales was pronounced dead at the scene; the 18-year-old woman was not injured, police said.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, police said. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
