Need An Outfit For Prom? Let Suffolk Police Help You Feel Glamorous

The department's annual Prom Impact event will take place this weekend.

BRENTWOOD, NY — Suffolk County Police want high school students to feel glamorous at their prom.

The department is hosting its annual Prom Impact event on Saturday April 22 and Sunday April 23 at the Suffolk County Police Academy, located at 502 Wicks Road in Brentwood from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organized by the Suffolk County Police LGBTQ Society, the event will feature hundreds of dresses, suits and tuxedos for students to try on and take home for their special night.

Students will also have the opportunity to select shoes, accessories and makeup—everything they need for the big dance—that were donated by members of the SCPD, community members and local businesses.

Valid school identification is required.
