Pedestrian Killed In Brentwood Car Crash: Police
A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Brentwood on Wednesday evening, Suffolk County police say.
BRENTWOOD, NY — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Brentwood on Wednesday evening, according to Suffolk County police.
Police said Emely Santos, 24, of Brentwood, was driving a 2012 Acura TL and made a left turn onto an eastbound lane of Suffolk Avenue from Eisenhower Avenue when she hit and killed a pedestrian around 5:40 p.m.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said. Santos was not injured.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
