Pedestrian Killed, Struck By Car In Brentwood: Police
The person was crossing Suffolk Avenue when they were struck, police say.
BRENTWOOD, NY — A person is dead after they were struck by a car while crossing the street in Brentwood on Saturday morning, Suffolk County Police said.
A 48-year-old man was driving a 2009 Toyota eastbound on Suffolk Avenue at about 4:45 a.m. when his vehicle struck a man crossing Suffolk Avenue, about 30 feet east of Route 111, police said.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay
Shore where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
