U.S. Post Office To Hold Job Fair In Central Islip

The United States Postal Service will host a job fair in Central Islip, to hire city carrier assistants to help deliver the holidays this season.
The fair will take place at the Central Islip Post Office, located at 110 E. Suffolk Ave on Nov. 16 and Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., a news release said.

Jobs are available in Central Islip, East Islip, Terrace Islip and Brentwood.
City carrier assistants will have a salary of $18.92 per hour, and are paid bi-weekly.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation, the Postal Service said. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Postal Service personnel will be on-site to provide detailed information about the positions and answer questions.
