Unauthorized Person Removed From LIRR Tracks: MTA

The person had to be removed from the tracks by officials, the MTA says.

BRENTWOOD, NY — An unauthorized person was removed from Long Island Rail Road tracks in Brentwood on Wednesday, an MTA representative told Patch.

To safely remove the person from the tracks, service was suspended between Deer Park and Ronkonkoma from 7:11 p.m. to 8:25 p.m.

The person was not identified by MTA.
