Woman Hit By Car In Brentwood Hospitalized In Serious Condition: PD
A 62-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition Saturday evening in Brentwood, Suffolk County police say.
BRENTWOOD, NY — A woman was seriously injured on Saturday evening after getting hit by a car in Brentwood, Suffolk County police said.
Denise Healy, 62, of Brentwood, was pushing a shopping cart across Motor Parkway near Washington Avenue on Saturday around 6:45 p.m. when she was hit by an eastbound 2018 Toyota Camry driven by Justin Ortiz, 28, of Brentwood, police said.
Healy was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore in serious condition, police said. Ortiz was not injured.

The Toyota was impounded for a safety check.
