BRONXVILLE, NY — One more Hudson Valley high school senior has won a National Merit Scholarship — and she's from Bronxville.
Nearly all National Merit $2,500 Scholarship recipients for 2023 were announced publicly in May.
However, one award became available after that announcement.

Aarna Pal-Yadav who graduated from Bronxville High School will receive a National Merit $2,500 Scholarship. Her probable career field is computer science.
This National Merit $2,500 Scholarship is supported by National Merit Scholarship Corporation’s own funds.

Pal-Yadav joins Jeremy C. Freeman of Bronxville High School as a scholarship winner.
The merit scholar winners were among 2,500 winners nationwide and were selected from a pool of more than 15,000 finalists.
More than 7,100 students have won merit scholarship awards, worth a total of about $28 million.
