Actors Conservatory Theatre’s Moon Over Buffalo is Hilarious!
ACT Wraps Up Its 50th Anniversary Season with an entertaining comedy, directed by Steven Riedel.

Actors Conservatory Theatre (ACT) - in residence at Taylor Hall at Christ Church - is wrapping up its 50th Anniversary season with the uproarious comedy, Moon Over Buffalo.
Written by Ken Ludwig, Moon Over Buffalo depicts two fading actors on tour with a repertory acting troupe in the 1950s. The group is on the verge of splitting up over the lead’s affair with the young ingénue – but then their big break appears on the horizon: Frank Capra (famous director of It’s A Wonderful Life) is coming to see one of their matinee performances and, if all goes well, he may cast them in his upcoming film! Unfortunately, one thing after another goes hilariously wrong, including when the actors become confused over which play they are actually performing.
“I am so excited to direct this behind-the-scenes, farcical take on life in the theatre,” comments Steven Riedel, Director of the production. “This faced-paced comedy features mistaken information, doors slamming and swords flailing. It's just good ol' fun times.” ACT’s President, Janice Paganelli, says she is delighted to wrap up their 50th Anniversary season with this “hysterical and wonderfully entertaining comedy that will have you laughing all the way home!”
