Bronxville Principal Appointments Extended

The Bronxville Board of Education has renewed the interim appointments of Interim Elementary Principal Heidi Menzel and Interim Assistant Principal Adrienne Laitman. The Bronxville Board of Education made the move during their last meeting.

“I am grateful for the work that Heidi and Adrienne have demonstrated over this past year, and I am confident that the Elementary School will continue to move forward,” said Bronxville School District Superintendent David Quattrone. “The faculty has built solid structures and procedures, and they have demonstrated outstanding professionalism."

Quattrone had formally asked the Board of Education to approve the interim appointments amid the search process for a permanent elementary school principal and assistant principal. The search process started back in February. District officials spearheaded the effort, which included a survey, focus groups, review of applications and interviews.

Superintendent Quattrone says it will be optimal for Menzel and Laitman to be in place for next school year.

“I am grateful for the work that Heidi and Adrienne have demonstrated over this past year, and I am confident that the Elementary School will continue to move forward,” said Quattrone. “The faculty has built solid structures and procedures, and they have demonstrated outstanding professionalism. Looking ahead, we will work together with the entire school community to address some of the needs that arose during the search process.”
