Bronxville Teens Busted After High-Speed Chase
An unlicensed Bronxville teen and his friends sped through the Village to avoid officers.

An unlicensed 15-year-old boy sped past a Bronxville Police cruiser on White Plains Road on March 3 at 3 p.m., according to Bronxville police. The officer tried to pull the car over, but the teen sped off with two other 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old boy in the car.
The teen driver raced down a side street, slowed down and three of his passengers jumped out of the car. Police were able to get one of the boys, but the other two got away.
Police figured out who the other three boys were and at least one of the unidentified teens was taken into police custody.
"The operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed juvenile, coupled with the attempt to evade our police officer created an extremely dangerous situation for the occupants of the vehicle as well as other motorists and residents," said Bronxville Chief Satriale. "We are very fortunate that no one was injured as a result of this irresponsible behavior."
All four boys will have to perform 15 hours of community service.
