D.A.R.E. Officers in Eastchester
A special D.A.R.E. program will run from November 26 to December 7.
Eastchester's 8th grade middle schoolers will get to take part in a special program presented by Eastchester's Finest's D.A.R.E. officers. The program will run during the weeks of April 1 through 15.
Sergeant Luke Yankowski and Officer Paul Santomauro will talk about Internet safety, cyber bullying, as well as the misuse and abuse of prescription drugs and alcohol abuse.
Following their powerful presentation, The Nurses Network of America will present a lesson an Alcohol Poisoning/Abuse.

The school district says that "the officers develop a great rapport with the students and bring to the lessons their years of experience as police officers."
