The Eastchester Police Department is encouraging all residents to lock their vehicles and remove all valuable items.

Eastchester Police are once again asking people to make sure they lock their cars. Here is their most recent note to people in town regarding the matter:

This notification is meant to advise all residents of Eastchester of recent larcenies from unlocked vehicles townwide (North and South End).

The Eastchester Police Department encourages all residents to lock their vehicles and remove all valuable items whenever the vehicles are unattended.  Targeted items are laptops, GPS units, radar detectors, brief cases, pocketbooks, loose money, etc…

Keep in mind that criminals are opportunists – take the opportunity away and decrease your chances of being victimized.
