Eastchester/Tuckahoe Veterans To Hold Memorial Day Ceremony
The annual event will be held Sunday at Bronvxille High School.
EASTCHESTER, NY — The Eastchester/Tuckahoe Veterans Ceremony Committee with present the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 7 p.m. Sunday.
It will be held in the Bronxville High School Auditorium, 177 Pondfield Rd. in Bronxville. The doors will open at 6:15 p.m.
Organizers said the ceremony, which honors local residents who made the supreme sacrifice, will also be commemorating the 80th anniversary of the "Doolittle Tokyo Raid," when General James Doolittle led a historic raid on Japan during World War II.

During the ceremony, special recognition will be given to the Women's Army Service Pilots and the Tuskegee Airmen.
The event will last about an hour and will include patriotic music, organizers said.
