EASTCHESTER, NY — A lawyer who was accused in 2021 of taking lewd photos of children at his Westchester County home now faces new child porn charges by federal prosecutors in New Jersey.

In August 2019, Androsky Lugo of Eastchester gave three cell phones and a tablet to a coworker for storage at the Fort Lee, New Jersey office where he worked, Federal prosecutors allege.

Lugo was executive vice president and general counsel for CareOne, the Daily Voice reported.

In August 2021, Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah accused Lugo of taking lewd photos of children at his home. She charged Lugo with promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, and unlawful surveillance in the second degree, all felonies.

Westchester prosecutors alleged then that he took lewd photographs of a 12-year-old child that captured the child's genital area underneath the child's clothing, obtained images of nude children who were 3 to 10 years old on Microsoft Bing, and possessed an image of a nude child who was 8 to 10 years old.

According to the federal complaint, after hearing about the Westchester charges the co-worker told others at the company about the tablet and cell phones Lugo had had her store. Company officials discovered images of fully or partially nude female children, most of whom appeared to be 8 to 10 years old, on the tablet.

They called police.

In October, law enforcement took custody of the devices and located a significant amount of

images and videos constituting child pornography, prosecutors said. Lugo, now 52, was carrying many of them on a cell phone back and forth between New York and New Jersey.

Sellinger thanked the Westchester County, New York, District Attorney's Office for its assistance.

The county charges are still pending, a spokesperson told Patch.
