Florence M. Kravatz, 95, passed away on March 20 in Florida. Florence was born in the Bronx and lived in Tuckahoe for 36 years before moving to Jacksonville Beach, FL.
She retired from AT&T in 1978 after 22 years as a switch board operator. She was a firm believer in family traditions. She loved cooking and being the hostess for all holidays and special occasions. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a faithful communicant, Eucharistic Minister and member of the Rosary Sodality at Assumption Church in Tuckahoe.
Florence was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Mary (Kozlowski) Jaroszewski, by her three brothers: Eddie, Joey, and Stanley, her beloved husband Michael, her loving daughter Mariann Alberti, and her loving son Michael. Surviving is her brother Walter, her loving daughter Ronnie (Greg) Burghardt, 11 grandchildren and their spouses, 19 great-grand children, her son-in-law Joe and daughter-in law Marylin, several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
