Tuckahoe Police Investigate Thefts
A look at some of the incidents investigated by the Tuckahoe Police Department.

April 21
6:48 p.m. Police got a call about a car accident, at the intersection of Columbus and Fulton. When officers arrived, they found 66-year-old Robert Pignatello’s vehicle had struck two parked cars. Pignatello was given a Breathalyzer test. Officers say the 66-year-old’s blood alcohol level was .14. The Tuckahoe resident was charged with DWI, and released on $100 bail.

11:07 a.m. A Tuckahoe resident called police after realizing that she had been the victim of identity theft. The woman says she started getting bills from credit cards accounts that she never opened. She also received calls from collection agencies concerning the accounts. The resident is still trying to figure out who opened the accounts without her permission.

8:00 a.m. Police are investigating the thefts of items stolen out of parked cars, in the same area of the Village. The thefts happened on Henry St. and Fulling Ave. Both vehicles may have been left unlocked. A car radio and T-shirt were stolen from the two vehicles.
