The 2013-14 Budget Process has begun. We look forward to seeing you all at our upcoming Board of Education (BOE) meetings to discuss this very important topic.

Each year, we discuss the upcoming budget for the following school year. These decisions impact all of us regardless of whether or not your children attend our schools.

In our current budget proposal, the Superintendent has identified various areas that could potentially be cut in order to bridge the significant deficit we are facing if we were to maintain all of the programs and services that exist this school year.

The Superintendent is also proposing additions to the budget that can enhance our academic program. These cuts and add-ons can be found on the District’s website: www.tuckahoeschools.org / District Resources / Budget Documents / 2013 – 2014 Budget.
