Westchester Man Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Woman While She Slept

The man, who was an EMT, was driving the woman home after a social gathering.

TUCKAHOE, NY — A Westchester County man was sentenced for sexually abusing a woman while she slept.

Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah said Terry Parker, 29, of Tuckahoe, was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years of probation for sexually abusing a woman while she was asleep.

Parker, who was employed as an emergency medical technician in Mount Vernon at the time of the incident, will also be required to register as a sex offender.

Rocah said he pleaded guilty in June to first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, for sexually abusing the woman while she was asleep in his car March 22, 2021.

He was driving the woman, who he knew from work, from a social gathering, police said.
