What Eastchester Physics Looks Like

Students got a lesson in refraction from Eastchester High's Rob Ross.

EHS teacher Rob Ross was discussing the refraction of light into different materials on Tuesday. The lesson taught was that a diamond has the smallest critical angle, which makes it more difficult for the entering light to exit the diamond. As a result, the light reflects internally many times inside the diamond which causes it to sparkle so brightly.
