The Brooklyn man pleaded not guilty to charges related to driving without a license, and he's expected back in court in March, court records show.
Antoine was just two minutes from home when he was struck — a reality that has been particularly difficult for his family, ABC7 reported.
"If he was more careful — just go at normal speed, my little brother would still be alive. He was two minutes from home," Antoine's sister, Eudayna Guichard, told ABC7.
"The darling of the family, my beloved 14-year-old little brother, is not just my best friend, but also my sweet little angel," wrote Antoine's sister in a GoFundMe.
