BROOKLYN, NYC — Vandals scrawled antisemitic graffiti outside a Brooklyn pediatric office earlier this week, officials said.

On Sunday morning, staff members at Tribeca Pediatrics in Bay Ridge arrived to find a Nazi swastika etched into the floor near the clinic’s front door.

In a joint statement, Council Member Justin Brannan, State Senator Andrew Gounardes, and Tribeca Pediatrics said the staff at the clinic’s three offices quickly took action, removing as much of the graffiti as possible and coordinating with the NYPD to ensure the hate crime is investigated.

"Antisemitism will not be tolerated by our offices or by this community, as demonstrated by the swift response of our staff and community members. We will continue to ensure that Bay Ridge is safe and welcoming to all," Brannan added.

A symbol of peace, a red heart, was placed over the hateful graffiti near the entrance ramp to the medical office.
