Luxurious New Brooklyn Housing Lottery Has $1.6K Apartments

BROOKLYN, NYC — Housing lottery applications are now open for more than 10 rent-stabilized units at Cantilever House, a newly built eight-story residential building in Bushwick.

Located at 21 Garden Street, Cantilever House, designed by DXA Studio and developed by Rivington Company, features 50 residences, with 15 units available on NYC Housing Connect.

The units, which include one- and two-bedroom apartments, are available to residents earning between 80 percent and 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), with eligible incomes ranging from $64,046 to $181,740.

The list of amenities is extensive, featuring a lounge with media and co-working zones, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a landscaped rooftop terrace with seating areas. Select units offer private balconies or exclusive rooftop access, according to the listing.

Additional perks include a virtual doorman, a 24/7 package room, bike storage, parking and a pet cleaning station.

A portion of the units are reserved for individuals with mobility, vision, or hearing impairments, as well as for NYC employees and residents of Brooklyn Community Board 4.

Applications must be submitted online through NYC Housing Connect by April 3, officials said. There are no deposits or application fees required.
