Man Found Dead, Dismembered In BK Apartment: NYPD, Report

BROOKLYN, NY — A wellness check led police to a man's dismembered body at an apartment near Flatbush Monday evening, according to police and a report.

Police found a man dead inside an apartment building on Nostrand Avenue between Farragut and Glenwood roads Monday about 7:10 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Police were conducting a wellness check at the location and found multiple dismembered body parts, according to police and the New York Daily News.

No arrests had been made Tuesday, and the man's cause of death will be determined by the Office of The Chief Medical Examiner, police said.

On Monday, the decomposing body of a woman was found in a trash can in the Bronx, according to the Daily News.
