Details surrounding last month’s attempted sexual assault remain unclear, but police said that around 10 p.m. on Oct. 24, a 28-year-old woman was entering a building near Cook Street and the Avenue of Puerto Rico in Williamsburg when the man attacked.

The attacker, who had been following her, forced his way into the building, exposed himself, and tried to remove the victim’s clothing before fleeing on foot, police said.
