2 Students Shot Outside Williamsburg School: Cops, Report

Police said that three people were shot outside of the Williamsburg Charter High School on Wednesday.

BROOKLYN, NY — Three people were injured in a shooting outside of a Williamsburg charter school on Wednesday afternoon.

At just after 2 p.m., three people were shot near Williamsburg Charter High School at 198 Varet St. in Williamsburg, police said.

Two of the victims are students, according to the New York Post.

Officials said the victims were in stable condition and had no further details at the time.

Young teens have increasingly been involved in violent shootings across the city, according to police, including a recently arrested 16-year-old gunman who killed a younger teen in Downtown Brooklyn on the first day of school last fall.
