Teen Stabbed On Brooklyn Street, Suspect Still At Large, Cops Say
Detectives in Brooklyn are hunting a suspect who stabbed a 13-year-old while he hung out with friends last month.

BROOKLYN, NY — A casual afternoon with friends in Brooklyn turned dangerous for a 13-year-old when police say a man stabbed him last month.
The unidentified man repeatedly stabbed the teen boy in a random afternoon attack on a Brooklyn street corner, authorities said.
The attacker and the teen crossed paths about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Jerome Street and Wortman Avenue in East New York, NYPD officials said.

Police said the teen was with friends when a man stepped out of his car and confronted him. Words were exchanged, and the encounter quickly turned violent—the man stabbed the boy twice on the left side of his torso.
EMS rushed the teen to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

Details leading up to the stabbing were not released, and police said the suspect fled in a white vehicle in an unknown direction.
Police are asking for help identifying the attacker, who was last seen wearing a white and blue jacket, a red hooded sweatshirt, red sweatpants and white sneakers.
