NEW YORK CITY — New York City is expected to get some rainfall during the second half of the week, starting Wednesday evening, weather officials say.
The forecasted rain storm is a complex funnel system blowing in from the west, National Weather Service Meteorologist Jay Engle told Patch.
The storm will weaken in pressure as it moves east, and the New York City area is expected to get around a quarter of an inch of rain, Engle said.
