BROOKLYN, NY — Brooklyn has a new half-millionaire—a local resident just claimed a $500,000 lottery prize, state officials confirmed.
The winning Pick 10 ticket was purchased at Brighton Gourmet Deli Inc., located at 606 Brighton Avenue in Brighton Beach.
According to lottery officials, the ticket matched all ten winning numbers drawn on July 11.

The lucky player was the only one to hit all ten, securing the entire top prize. The odds of winning the Pick 10 game are 1 in 8,911,711.
