1 of 3 Charged in East New York Deadly Gang Assault, Others on the Loose
East New York man Bobby Ramos faces manslaughter and gang assault charges for beating a man to death, the Brooklyn DA said.
EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — East New York man Bobby Ramos faced charges of manslaughter and gang assault Thursday after he was arrested Wednesday in connection with last week's brutal murder of 49-year-old Frankie Santiago in East New York, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney's office complaint.
Ramos, was just one arrested of three men the NYPD believe kicked and punched Santiago to death.
Police described another suspect as a Hispanic man 35-50 years old with glasses, who was last seen wearing a black jacket decorated with eight ball patches, dark jeans, and black sneakers. The other suspect police described as a Hispanic man 30-40 years old, and he was last seen wearing a blue, hooded sweater.

When police were called to 480 Alabama Ave. the night of Nov. 11, they found Santiago with severe trauma to his body, they said. Santiago was sent to Brookdale Hospital, where he died of blunt force trauma to his torso, skeletal fractures, and a laceration to his spleen, according to the Brooklyn DA.
