12-Year-Old Canarsie Boy Disappears From School, Cops Say

CANARSIE, BROOKLYN — A 12-year-old boy walked out of his Brooklyn school Wednesday afternoon and hasn't been seen since, police said.

Prince Washington was last seen leaving Roy H. Mann Junior High School on East 68th Street and Avenue N at about 2:20 p.m., police said.

The 12-year-old boy never returned to his home in the Glenwood Houses on Farragut Road and East 58th Street that evening, said police.

Police describe Prince as standing about 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 95 pounds with brown eyes, black hair in cornrows, and wearing jeans, a red polo shirt and a black backpack.

Anyone with information about where to find Prince is asked to contact police.
