Man Lures BK Teen Into Car Promising Gang Life And Booze: Cops

A man in a black car asked a 14-year-old to join a gang and if he wanted alcohol, police said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN —A man lured a teenaged boy into his car then promised him gang membership and alcohol, all while patting his leg and driving him to New Jersey, cops said.

The dubious driver picked up the 14-year-old boy on Lott Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard on Sept. 25 about 7:30 a.m., cops said.

The man then patted his leg and head, asked him if he wanted alcohol and to be member of a gang, said police.

The teen rode with him to Newark, New Jersey, then jumped out of the black four-door sedan, police said.

Police on Friday released a sketch of the driver, who is wanted for endangering the welfare of a child.

The man, who sports dreadlocks and had a bandage on his left hand, is in his 30s, has a skinny build and stands about 6 foot 1 inch tall, police said.

Anyone with information about the man is asked to contact police.
