Man Robbed At Gunpoint In Broad Daylight In Brooklyn: Police

BROOKLYN, NY — A brazen daylight robbery last week by a pair of gun-toting crooks left a man without a cell phone and scooter, authorities said.

The theft occurred on Feb. 18 around 4:45 p.m. when two men flashed a pistol at a 27-year-old man walking in the vicinity of Hegeman Avenue and Barbey Street.

After taking the man's cell phone and motorized scooter, for which the police had no description or estimated value or type, the duo fled westbound on Hegeman Avenue, an official said.

No injuries were reported, according to the NYPD.

The individuals fled on two scooters westbound on Hegeman Avenue to unknown locations.
