Man Slashed In The Head On Brooklyn J Train, Cops Say

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — A man was slashed in the head on a Brooklyn J train during Monday morning rush hour, according to police.

The 21-year-old man was slashed in the back of the head after an argument with three people on a northbound J train near Alabama Avenue station about 7 a.m., according to police.

The people with whom the wounded straphanger argued — two men and a woman — were still on the loose as of 9:30 a.m., police said.

It was not clear which of the three slashed the man in the head or what weapon that attacker used, police said.

The injured man was taken to Interfaith Hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, police said.
