Man Sought After Sexual Assault Of Teen In East New York
Police say a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted Tuesday evening after she met the man in East New York.
EAST NEW YORK, NY — The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance in locating a 23-year-old man who they say sexually assaulted a teenager and stole her cellphone and jewelry.
According to the NYPD, the 15-year-old victim met the man in the area of Berriman Street and Hedgeman Avenue on Tuesday at around 5 p.m. Police say the pair entered a basement apartment where the man allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The man also allegedly punched the victim and removed her jewelry and cellphone before fleeing the scene, police said.

Police say the man is just under 6-feet tall and weighs 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
