BROOKLYN, NY — Police have released surveillance footage of the man they say shot a 27-year-old after a fight at Broadway Junction subway station earlier this week.

The man was shot in the chest after getting into an argument with the shooter around 10 p.m. on the station's southbound L train platform, according to police. Police had originally said the fight occurred on the L train itself, but updated the information Tuesday.

The 27-year-old was sent to the hospital in stable condition, police said.
