Woman Found Dead In Brownsville Apartment, Cops Say

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Police are investigating the death of a woman who was found in a Brownsville apartment on Tuesday, according to the NYPD.

The 34-year-old woman was found unconscious and unresponsive in the bedroom of the Howard Avenue apartment just before 2 p.m., according to police.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, which is found near the Crown Heights border, police said.

The city's Medical Examiner will determine the woman's cause of death and no arrests had been made in the case as of Wednesday morning, police said.
