Woman Punched, Stabbed At East New York Subway Station, Cops Say
The 20-year-old woman was on the platform when the attacker punched her in the back, police said.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — A woman was punched and stabbed while standing in an East New York subway station on Saturday, according to police.
The 20-year-old woman was standing on the northbound platform at the Van Siclen Avenue station just before 3 p.m. when someone came up and punched her in the back, police said.
As the woman and her attacker argued, the person took out a knife and stabbed the woman three times in the abdomen, police said.

She was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
