Bushwick Shooting: 4 Wounded in Gun Brawl on Knickerbocker

The dispute might have been gang-related, cops said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Four men were shot on Sunday night inside a Bushwick storefront after a possible gang-related dispute broke out, police said.

At around 6:20 p.m. on Sunday night, a gunman entered 192 Knickerbocker Ave. and opened fire, an NYPD spokesperson said.

A 65-year-old was hit in the buttocks, a 23-year-old was hit in the leg, a 32-year-old was hit in the arm, and a 26-year-old was hit in the leg, police said. The gunman then fled in a grey minivan, according to police.

The first three victims were treated at Kings County and Elmhurst hospitals, and the last victim checked himself in to Kings County hospital later that night, police said.

The 26-year-old man is thought to be a member of the Wild Chicanos gang, and the NYPD said the dispute might have been gang-related.

There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
