Bushwick's Awkward Christmas Pet Family Photoshoot Happens This Weekend

BUSHWICK, NY — Get your dog, your cat, both, or all, and head over to Bushwick bar Precious Metal to take the best awkward Christmas family photo you can muster. It's all happening at Bushwick Bark's Fourth Annual Awkward Family Holiday Pet Photo Shoot & Fundraiser.

The local pet store recommends bringing your ugliest Christmas or Hanukkah sweaters, reindeer antlers, and anything else holiday-themed that you'd want your friends and family to see on a letter they get through the mail, and then they will probably hang up on the fridge, to embarrass you.

And by all means, bring pet costumes.

Mixologists from Precious Metal will be making fancy cocktails to get drunk on so you're a bit more loosey goosey for the shoot. And all the money you spend on booze, or otherwise, will go to local animal rescues Bushwick Street Cats and SugarMutts Rescue, who need more help as the winter months approach.

The pawrty takes place at Precious Metal on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. 143 Troutman St. in Brooklyn. Here's the Facebook invite.
