Bushwick's House Of Yes To Throw Pantsless Dance Party

Time to check your pants at the door, Bushwick.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Bushwick's House of Yes is throwing a pantsless dance party on Saturday, Jan. 7, so get your best underwear washed. The party came about from a hybrid of ideas from "Risky Business," the "No Pants Subway Ride," in New York City every year, and an impromptu undies birthday party that was held at the House of Yes over the summer, co-owner Kae Burk told Brooklyn Paper.

If you're shy or worried about the logistics of getting half-naked, no need to be concerned. The party comes with a coat and pants check, heaters, and "special shots" for people to get warm and lose their fear of going pantsless, Burk told Brooklyn Paper.

"There will be shot specials for people to work up their courage because sometimes it’s intimidating to prance around in your panties," Burk said. "House of Yes is all about people pushing their own personal boundaries and going outside of their comfort zone."

A panties boutique at the House of Yes will be selling panties of all shapes and sizes during the party.

"Lets face it, we dance better in our panties. Plus, butts of all shapes and sizes are amazing. We want to see your underwear. Or at least your tights. Moving, grooving, doing it... You know. Cotton spandex blends for life! Breif Cheif! Thong tha-thong thong thong. Granny panties for days," the event description says.
