NYPD Cop Charged With Drunk Driving In Bushwick, Police Say
The off-duty officer was arrested after hitting a parked police car in the neighborhood he patrols, the New York Daily News reported.

BUSHWICK, QUEENS -- An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested for drunk driving on Sunday after crashing into a police car in the same Brooklyn precinct he patrols, according to police and news reports.
Miguel Martinez, 38, was driving his Toyota RAV4 when he hit an empty police car at around 2:20 a.m., The New York Daily News reported.
An NYPD spokeswoman could not confirm whether Martinez hit the patrol car, but did say the cop was arrested near Cypress and Willoughby Avenues in Ridgewood, Queens.

Martinez was charged in the 83rd Precinct - the same one in which he serves - with driving while intoxicated, driving the wrong way and refusal to take a breathalyzer test, police said.
