Police Release Surveillance Video To Find Bushwick Shooter: NYPD
The suspect seen in a surveillance video and photo shot at a man in another vehicle behind him, police said.
BUSHWICK, NY — A surveillance video shows the moment a gunman started shooting at a motorist near a gas station in Bushwick, police said.
The victim — a 22-year-old man — survived being shot in the left leg July 28 and can be seen in the video driving away from the gunman along Bushwick Avenue near Aberdeen Street. Medics sent him to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, according to police.
The video shows the shooter, a man, exit the passenger’s side of a black SUV parked out on the road near a Shell gas station, walk toward a vehicle behind him and then fire multiple shots at the driver.

The shooter then can be seen in the video going back to the SUV, in which another person driving sped off in an unknown direction, authorities said.
The suspect is believed to be 20 to 30 years of age, according to the NYPD.
