Teens punch kid, get just $2
An 11-year-old male was walking home from school near Second Place and Henry Street on Oct. 19 around 12:30 p.m. when he was approached by two male teenagers. One teen punched the boy in the stomach, and another said, "empty your pockets," cops said. The teens got away with $2.

Honda tires and rims snaggedÂ
The 44-year-old male owner of a gray 2011 Honda CRV returned to his car on Oct. 19 around 2 a.m. to find it missing two tires worth $1,000 and two rims, cops said. The theft occurred on the SW corner of Degraw and Hicks streets.

Nissan tires and rims snagged
Also on Oct. 19, a 33-year-old male owner of a gray 2009 Nissan Maxima found his car, parked on Warren Street between Clinton and Court streets, missing two tires worth $500 and two rims worth $1,000, cops said. The incident was reported at 8:30 a.m.
Attempted burglary
A 37-year-old male resident of an apartment on First Street between Smith and Hoyt streets heard a thief trying to break into his apartment and so he yelled and screamed, causing the thief to flee on a bicycle, cops said. The man heard the thief break the glass in the front door, and saw his hand come through the door, looking for the doorknob, cops said. The thief got away, but didn't take anything.
