New Pilates Studio Stretches Into Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NYC — A Pilates studio with locations in SoHo, Gramercy, and more than 80 locations in development across the USA and Australia has secured a space in Brooklyn.

JETSET Pilates has signed a lease to open its first Brooklyn studio at 474 Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill, set to open in the spring of 2025, according to franchise owners Matt Figurski and Cindy Pinilla.

“Boerum Hill is one of our favorite neighborhoods in the city," Pinilla said. "We love its diverse architecture from row houses to modern developments, tree-lined streets, unique shops, cozy cafes, and the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We are excited to join this amazing community and contribute to its health and well-being values"

The Pilates franchise is known for its signature 50-minute classes, which combine modern and traditional Pilates techniques set to DJ-curated playlists.

Featuring both resistance and cardio training, the total-body workout takes place on JETSET’s specialized reformer, designed by the brand to maximize results. Classes are kept intimate and led by expert instructors, the owners added.

"Cindy and I wanted to combine our experiences and passions to work in the health and wellness space. We are so excited to open a business that will positively impact our clients, instructors, and community," Figurski said.

The new Boerum Hill studio will be located between Downtown Brooklyn and the Boerum Hill Historic District. It will occupy the street-level space of an Energy Star Grade ‘A’ building and feature the brand’s modern aesthetic, with a high-quality sound system, spacious lobby, custom apparel, and plenty of natural light.

JETSET Pilates offers several pricing options for those interested in joining, including a drop-in class for $45, a five-class intro pack for $195, and a 10-class pack for $365. For unlimited access, a monthly pass is available for $349.

Additional membership plans include eight classes per month for $249 and 12 classes per month for $309. New clients can also take advantage of special offers, such as a Buy One, Get One Free class for $45.
