The streets were so clogged with snow that some blood drives were cancelled, and a statement issued from <a href="http://pubadvocate.nyc.gov/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Public Advocate</a> Bill de Blasio's office called on all New Yorkers to donate. You can help by donating locally on Saturday. <a href="http://www.nybloodcenter.org/index.jsp" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">New York Blood Center</a> is hosting a blood drive at on Clinton and Clinton streets. Between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. drop by the Parish Hall, and bring your ID with you. You must weigh at least 110 pounds and be between 16 and 76 years of age. For info, call 800-933-2566.
