Everyone ready for the holiday season? Whether you are or you aren't, it has begun, and . And then there will really be no confusion as to what time of year it is. The most wonderful time?! The annual Carroll Park tree lighting, now in its 4th year, is a favorite event in the neighborhood. The kids love to sing carols, play kazoos and see the tree lit, and it seems nearly everyone's there. Last year Marty Markowitz was there, as was Karen K from . And of course, Santa was there too! The tree lighting is hosted by the Court Street Merchants and begins at 6 p.m. Merry-making and warm drinks follow in the park house.
